What makes it different

The film is a slow push-in onto a painted map lying on a hotel desk, with a brass room key and a cup of tea at its edges. Its last frame is a window onto the map, and the invitation sits on it.

As the guest scrolls, the map stays behind the page and its camera glides from place to place: the church, the hotel, then down the coach road between them while a dotted route draws itself.
