Best wedding websites in Ireland (2026)

Free, paid and done-for-you wedding websites for Irish couples, compared on prices and features checked on 12 October 2026. We wrote this, and we sell one.

Updated 12 October 2026

There is no single best wedding website in Ireland. On 12 October 2026 Hitched.ie, Bridebook Ireland, weddings.ie and Weddings Online each offered a free one, enough for many couples. Paid templates were €39 to €239, done-for-you sites €45 to €745, and a Lisbon studio listed bespoke builds from €3,000. Tying The Knot is €750 including VAT.

Tying The Knot wrote this page and sells one of the options on it. We checked every fact about another business on its own page on 12 October 2026 and dated it. Where a page would not open or showed no price, we left that business out. Most sellers do not say whether their prices include VAT, so any comparison with Tying The Knot's VAT-inclusive price is approximate.

How do the options compare?

Prices and features are as listed on each business's own page on 12 October 2026.

What do the free sites ask of you?

Time. On the free sites you choose the template, write the words and set up each RSVP question yourself.

Two things are worth checking before you rely on one. Some need a paid plan for the part you want: Hey Wedding Day is free to build but charges €19 a month to publish the site and collect RSVPs, and Joy and Zola charge for a custom domain. And the free sites differ in what a guest can answer, so look at the reply form before you commit. If your venue uses Moposa, ask the venue first: the venue covers the cost of the couple's website, RSVPs and seating plan, and couples cannot sign up directly.

Do Joy and Zola work for an Irish wedding?

Joy and Zola are free builders from outside Ireland. This is what their own pages say.

Joy says its wedding website is free, including RSVP tools, templates and hosting, and that guests can reply to each event on your schedule. A custom domain costs extra. Its help centre says the Where to Stay page suggests hotels near your venue wherever in the world it is, but that its free room-block service is for events in the US or Canada, and that text delivery is for US and Canadian phone numbers, with email for guests who have other numbers (Joy, checked 12 October 2026; the help article is dated 5 June 2026).

Zola says its wedding websites are free to create and publish, with a custom domain the only exception, from $17.99 in US dollars. A guest replies by finding their name on your guest list, and you can ask about meal choices for each event. Zola's help page says you can add addresses and phone numbers from guests around the world, but its guest-addressing tool is formatted for US addresses (Zola, checked 12 October 2026). The Zola pages we read say nothing specific about Irish couples or euro prices.

Which one fits you?

  • You want a page and a reply form, and you are happy to build it. Use Hitched.ie, Bridebook Ireland, weddings.ie or Weddings Online. They are free, and several add meal choices, dietary questions or a table planner.
  • Your venue uses Moposa. The website, RSVPs with meals, diet and songs, and a seating plan are free to you, because the venue pays.
  • You want a guest list, custom RSVP questions and a table planner for one payment, and you will build it. SoInvited Gold (€199) includes all three. WedSites has RSVPs and a guest list from €99 and a seating chart builder at €199.
  • You want someone else to fill in the pages for a few hundred euro. Evite You, Invite.ie, WeddingWebsites.ie, Wedding Websites Ireland or Crafted Wedding Sites. Ask what hosting costs and how long it lasts.
  • You want a designer-led process. Avelã White lists bespoke builds from €3,000. Tying The Knot is not a designer-led studio.
  • Many of your guests are travelling, and you want a short silent film to open the invitation, with replies, dietary needs, songs and the table plan in one dashboard. That is what Tying The Knot is for, at €750 including VAT.
  • You want printed invitations. Use a stationer. Tying The Knot is fully digital: the site is the invitation, sent to every guest as one link.

What should you ask before you pay?

Whoever you choose, ask what the first price leaves out:

  • VAT. Is it included? Most of the sellers above do not say. Tying The Knot's €750 includes it.
  • Hosting. How long does the site stay online, and what does more cost? WedSites includes 6, 12 or 24 months, SoInvited keeps sites live until a year after the wedding, and WeddingWebsites.ie requires hosting of 4, 7 or 12 months at €39 to €79. We did not see a hosting length on the Crafted Wedding Sites or Invite.ie pages. With Tying The Knot it is 12 months from the day you go live, then €150 for each further 12 months.
  • RSVP. Is it included? Hey Wedding Day charges for it, WeddingWebsites.ie includes it only in the €499 package, and SoInvited includes it from the €199 plan.
  • Changes. Who makes them, and how many rounds? Tying The Knot includes two.

Where does Tying The Knot fit?

Tying The Knot makes wedding invitation websites that open with a short silent film. The film is AI-assisted: AI tools make it for your venue, colours and style, and a person checks it frame by frame before you see it. See the twelve examples.

The price is €750 including VAT, one price, for a year online. It covers the film, the invitation site, a guest travel planner, RSVP with meal, dietary and allergy questions and a song from each guest, a calendar file, a web address, two rounds of changes, a private dashboard and a table plan you can download as a picture and a CSV for your venue. Read more on the custom wedding website page, or see the video invitation, RSVP and wedding abroad pages.

On price, €750 is close to the highest done-for-you price in the table (Crafted Wedding Sites Premium, €745, VAT not stated) and a quarter of the €3,000 one studio lists for bespoke builds. It is well above the free sites, which cover a page, RSVP and sometimes a table plan for nothing if you build them yourself.

Tying The Knot is not the right choice if a free site would do, if you want to direct every design decision with a designer, or if you want printed stationery. To see what you would be buying, open the examples on your phone. Then read how it works and the pricing page, or get started.

How was this page checked?

Tying The Knot wrote this page. On 12 October 2026 we read each business's own page for every price and feature above, and dated it. Where a page would not open, or showed no price, we left that business out rather than rely on an earlier note. Prices change, so check the seller's page before you pay, and tell us if something here is out of date. Our guide to what a wedding website costs in Ireland sets out the price range in more detail.

Read the small print elsewhere: Hey Wedding Day is free to build but charges €19 a month to publish the site and collect RSVPs, and Zola charges for a custom domain, from $17.99.

Do Joy and Zola work for an Irish wedding?

Both are free to start. Joy takes RSVPs for several events and suggests hotels near a venue anywhere in the world, but its free room-block service covers events in the US and Canada only, and its text delivery covers US and Canadian numbers. Zola's website is free apart from a custom domain from $17.99, and its guest-addressing tool is formatted for US addresses. Check each against your guest list before you rely on it.

Which wedding websites include a table plan tool?

Hitched.ie offers a free table planner with round or rectangular tables. weddings.ie lists a print-ready seating chart, free. At Moposa venues the venue pays for a drag-and-drop seating plan.
