The wildflower garden
Róisín & Hazel
A walled garden in the Wicklow hills. Glenealy, Co. Wicklow, Saturday 3 July 2027.

What makes it different
The film grows a wreath of Irish wildflowers from a single sprout: a dog rose for Róisín, whose name means “little rose”, one way round, and a hazel for Hazel the other, meeting at the top.
The page is a botanical sketchbook. Each part opens with a painted plant that grows the first time it comes into view, the day runs down the page as a honeysuckle vine, and the reply is a seed packet.
